Parts & Service Associate Job Description
The Parts & Service Associate’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assist in ordering, stocking, and inventorying parts and materials in service trucks and parts warehouse
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and secure warehouse and facility
- Assist in receiving parts orders verifying quantity, price, and delivery of correct parts
- Assist in ensuring all equipment is in proper operating condition, to include maintaining high quality appearance of vehicles and equipment
- Assist in issuing and receiving tools, equipment, parts, and materials to and from technicians
- Assist in updating parts pricing in the company database
- Assist plumbing technicians as needed at jobsites with installation and repair of plumbing systems
- Deliver parts and equipment to jobsites
- Pull city permits and coordinate and schedule inspections with cities and customers, seeing permits through to approval
- Check and maintain your company email via Outlook
- Light facilities maintenance to include replacing light bulbs and air filters
Parts & Service Associate Job Requirements
The Parts & Service Associate should possess the following experience, skills, characteristics, and abilities:
- Positive attitude
- Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Mechanically inclined (preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and computer literacy
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Work well in team environment to accomplish organizational goals
- Judgment, tact, and initiative to identify and solve problems
- Ability to multi-task
- Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and phone skills
- Professional Appearance
- Strong Work Ethic
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing 50+ pounds
